Genuine Plug-In convenience with modern G4X architecture, advanced tuning and motorsport features.

Purpose-built for the L.H.D. Toyota 86, Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S, the TGT86 is designed to fit directly into the factory ECU location using the factory mounts, original wiring loom and connectors. No rewiring, no adapter looms, no compromises. It retains all factory functionality, delivers seamless OEM integration and includes a startup map to get your vehicle running quickly. The result is a clean, simple, reliable installation that maintains a stock appearance.

Link Plug-in ECUs include all the features expected from a premium Link ECU. TGT86 features include Direct and Port Injection control, dual CAN Bus, Flex Fuel, Flexible Engine Protection Limiters, CAN Keypad Control, Open and Closed Loop Boost Control, Dual Closed Loop Lambda, VVT Control, a built-in Trigger Oscilloscope, compatibility with aftermarket displays, Direct Automatic Transmission Control and 512MB of onboard data logging.

Drawing from Link's championship-winning pedigree, the TGT86 also supports advanced tuning and motorsport features including Nitrous Control, Launch Control, Anti-lag, Cruise Control, Traction Control, Race Timer and Power Management, Gear Shift Control and Paddle Shift Control.

A Link Plug-in ECU is the ideal solution when available for your vehicle and the wiring remains in good condition, providing modern engine management without the complexity of a wire-in installation.

Models Supported

Toyota GT86 ZN6 with 4U-GSE/FA20 engine from 2012-2021.

Important

Please check your connector matches the header in the listed photo before purchasing.

This ECU works for both manual and Automatic transmissions.

Most factory features are supported.

This ECU has built-in E-Throttle (Drive-by-Wire).

Due to the very tight nature of the factory ECU location, the LHD and RHD mounting methods differ. This ECU is for left-hand drive vehicles only. A RHD Version is available under part number 241-4000.

2017+ Models have some differences to earlier cars and will not run with the sample maps supplied in PCLink and the standard plug-in ecu hardware.

2017+ Engines have a Hall Effect Crank Sensor instead of Reluctor and so require the Trigger 1 Type changed from 'Reluctor' to 'Optical/Hall' and the Trigger 1 Pull-up set to ON.

2017+ Engines have a different DI Fuel Pressure sensor than earlier models, this sensor has 4 pins instead of 3 and requires an 8.2kohm pullup resistor to be wired between C7 (An Volt 4) and 5v, the DI Fuel Pressure Source changed from An Volt 3 to An Volt 4 and the pressure calibration changed to 0kPa at 4.06V and 30000kPa at 0.46V.
