These FL5 specific HYPER Springs which are the result of J'S Racing's relentless pursuit of the perfect balance between performance, stance, and comfort for the FL5 Civic Type R!
The handling of the FL5 Type R is very impressive in stock form, boasting not only very high cornering performance but also good comfort for street driving.
J’S Racing designed these HYPER Springs to complement the factory's drive modes ＋R/Sport/Comfort, resulting in a product that has been meticulously crafted to provide even better comfort and increased handling performance over the original equipment.
Ride height has been lowered by 25mm (~1”) in the front and 20mm (~¾”) in the rear. The spring rates vary from 3.5-5.0 kgf/mm in the front (stock is 4.8kgf/mm) and from 2.5-4.5 kgf/mm in the rear (stock is 4.4kgf/mm).
By combining the HYPER Springs with the included bumpstops, we have achieved even higher cornering performance over the original FL5. This increased performance is evident during low, medium, and high speed cornering.
