1:1 Race Engines - L15CA Shortblock - 2022+ 11th Gen Civic/Integra 1.5T
These shortblocks are intended to be used with 2022+ Civic and Integra with the 1.5 Turbo engines. Given our great success with the Type R platform, we are able to implement those build strategies to our L15 line as well, to give you the best possible built engine at a price point lower than the competition.
Our shortblocks are built in-house using the best components available for the platform. The CSS option is for those intending on making higher horsepower using 25+PSI of boost. While the factory sleeves may hold up, the CSS is extra insurance against any cracked sleeves or other failures sleeve related. When going with the CSS, we overbore by 0.5mm. This is to ensure the cylinder walls are square after pressing the CSS billet brace into the block.
Timeframes after ordering are 1-2 weeks for OEM block builds, 5-6 weeks for CSS builds
Your new block will include the following:
- NEW OEM Block + Crankshaft from Honda (unless supplying your good, used core)
- 1:1 Spec - Traum HD Pistons + Rings
- Your Choice of InlinePro No-Notch (Recommended), BC, Saenz, or InlinePro XP800 Xtreme Rods
- OEM Bearings, crank trigger, Oil Jets
- Hone cylinders to piston spec
- All components checked, measured, verified. Debur edges
- Set ring gaps
